Emily of Emerald Hill Exhibition

A series of black and white illustrations for Emily of Emerald Hill exhibition. Some of these were used to decorate the walls and others as rubber stamps at the interactive booth. Besides this special exhibition which will last till 17 Feb next year, be sure to check out the other exhibits in the museum, one of the finest and most comprehensive collections of Peranakan objects that showcases the Peranakan culture. Packaging Illustration

Did this illustration for a client recently. The client wanted a certain watercolour style, and since I paint digitally, I have to experiment with different opacity settings and using various watercolour brushes in Photoshop. It was fun & challenging to achieve watercolour effect using digital medium after many rounds of fine tuning. Glad to experiment a different style this time :) away from my usual pen & ink illustrations. Any feedbacks are welcome! :)

You can download some great watercolour brushes here.
